FAQ
Below you can find various answers to frequently asked questions. These FAQs are divided into three categories: General Information about the company, Job Applicants, and Customer FAQs.
Do I have to come in person to apply?
- The actual paper application is very thorough. You will be asked to list your relevant past employment for the past 10 years and all driving experience you have had. Coming in person also gives you a chance to know us and see our facilities. After your application has been approved, you’ll be given a date for a road test. Following that, you will receive a hire date, be given some orientation before going out on the road, then placed with someone for orientation to learn our particular procedures.
What is the best way to learn more about driving positions?
- You can call any time during normal business hours (after hours we sometimes answer, too!). Call toll-free 844-THE-ZTEAM (844-843-9832). A specially trained member of The Z-Team will answer your call.
- A phone call allows us to get to know each other. We will be able to quickly understand your qualifications and the type of position in which you are interested. You can ask specific questions about pay, scheduling, policies, benefits, and any other issue that might be of concern.
